Krystal Khan

SPEECH & LANGUAGE THERAPY ASSISTANT / NEURO REHAB ASSISTANT

Krystal is studying for a BSc in Speech and Language Therapy at the University of Essex and is due to graduate in 2025.

Following achieving a BSc in Law, Krystal worked for an early help/intervention service for a London borough. Initially she worked as part of a play and communication team. Her work involved supporting children with speech, language and communication needs, and providing families with information on how to support their children’s play and communication skills. It was during her time working alongside highly qualified speech and language therapists, and families, that she discovered her passion and want to pursue a career and develop her knowledge in this field of work.

Krystal has a keen interest in working within communities where barriers to accessing speech and language therapy exist. She hopes to empower people to overcome barriers and achieve positive speech and language outcomes.
