Kezia Lawson

SPECIALIST SPEECH & LANGUAGE THERAPIST (NEUROLOGY)

Kezia is an enthusiastic, compassionate, and solution-focused Speech and Language Therapist. She has ten years of clinical experience working with adults with communication and swallowing disorders caused by a range of neurological conditions. These include stroke, dementia, brain injury, progressive neurological conditions, and functional neurological disorder. She has worked in a range of settings including outpatient clinics, domiciliary settings, care homes, acute hospitals, and rehabilitation centers. Kezia loves to work with people and their families to identify and achieve meaningful goals.

 For the past four years, Kezia has worked as the Team Lead for a community-based NHS Speech and Language Therapy team covering a wide geographical area. She has refined her leadership skills through an ILM Level 3 Team Leader Apprenticeship. Kezia has completed a Masters in Clinical Research where her dissertation focused on fluent aphasia following stroke. She is also currently training to be a Life Coach.
