Sarah Casey

SPECIALIST SPEECH & LANGUAGE THERAPIST (NEUROLOGY)

Sarah has specialist experience working with adults with a wide range of acute, chronic and progressive speech, language and swallowing disorders. Since qualifying with an MSc from UCL she has worked at the Royal Free Hospital and the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery across acute wards, inpatient rehabilitation and outpatient clinics.

Sarah has extensive experience assessing and treating dysphagia, aphasia, cognitive communication difficulties, dysarthria and apraxia.

She strives to give excellent care which is patient-centred, evidence based and holistic (encompassing the support network and team of professionals working with the patient). She ensures she keeps up to date on the latest research and innovations for speech, language and swallowing therapy. Sarah is passionate about helping patients to maximise their quality of life. She works collaboratively with the patient and those surrounding them to ensure a bespoke service with meaningful goals and outcomes.
